When I started to be in more contact with the Trail motorcycles, always came up models from previous years in the review of the adventurous and nostalgic, and they mentioned that the type bikes now as there Trail were like before ( Hoda, Yamaha Ténéré with ) and then seeing pictures I also dreamed of such a motorcycle makes and models are mostly two-cylinder motorcycles over 700 cc large fuel tanks for more robust steel frame and easy to maintain, now that electronic fuel injection, self-supporting chassis, aluminum and other technological gadgets has lost a little of this mythical image of off-road motorcycle adventure.
So over time I also dreamed of designing a bike with features that persuaded me, and this kind of thinking there are many throughout the Internet.
My requirements would be:
- front wheel and rear 21-spoke 19-inch and they were not camera.
- Engine 700 cc onwards.
- Fuel tank capacity 20 liters or more.
- cradle steel chassis.
- aluminum swingarm.
- about 20 cm fork travel.
- Dual front disc brake about 320 cm and a radial calipers and 280 in the rear brake.
- modular seat.
- Dual front lighthouse.
- Transmission chain final.
- Box of 6 speeds.
- Ground clearance of about 20 to 30 cm.
- Do not weigh the same as a BMW R 1200 GS .
- Reliable.
- Durable.
And because a motorbike and still does not exist unless it is on request and that it only means that I have $$$$$$$.
But to my luck I think Yamaha make a bike very similar to what I like to use before gasoline is over and even have a job.
The model is a motorcycle with a name steeped in history and I mean Yamaha - Super Ténéré be worse now than 1200 cc , although no lot of information but the images speak for much.
